What does Polarized Retro-Reflective Sensor means ?
When the shiny or pearl, white, metallic car or object break the Tx beams from the XR-1000, the beams will be still broken (relay trigger), the car or object won't become the reflector, so none false alarm or false alarm will be happened. If None Polarized retro-reflective sensor, the sensor is possible not be triggered, due to the shiny car or object becomes the reflector; the beam is still aligned when the shiny car break the beams.
