Above: Gates before being given new life by us!

Below: The finished item. The gates were sand blasted, powder coated, and we welded a plinth to the bottom, as well as giving the motor a thorough check up. A great result at a fraction of the price of a new gate.

Give your gates and fences a new LOOK
Remember that not all gates can be given new life! Rust is the biggest issue in most cases, but we can usually cut out the rust in the affected area and replace the steel.
In gates made with hollow tubes, the rust eats its way through the inside. This is because a large number of gate builders don’t make special drainage holes for the water to leave the frame, and eventually they rust.
Make it a point to check your gate, and, if necessary, drill about 8 10mm holes on the underside of any horizontal bars. Don’t be surprised if water starts streaming out! Also, this is very IMPORTANT, use a cordless drill to drill the holes, or, even better, let us check the over-all health of your gate and fence.
In some cases this type of work can be performed on-site. However, this is not possible if powder coating is required. If your gates also need to be removed then the maximum number of days you’ll be left without your gate, or fence, is 5 days. Normally we take them on Monday and they’re back on Friday.
