Service Technician/On Site Installer
We are currently seeking someone to work as a Service Installer/Technician in, and around, Melbourne. Applicants should be able to service, repair, as well as install all brands of gate motors on site.
Applicants should also demonstrate a highly disciplined work ethic, good knowledge of the suburbs, and a good driver’s license. These things are mandatory, and so is speaking and writing well in English, to be able to maintain paper work up-to-date and legible. Communicating with the general public is required, so communication skills should be high.
No two days are alike when working for us, so don’t worry, you’ll never get bored! A trial period of 3 months is required, before being hired full-time.
Monday to Friday - Starts at 8AM
Salary - $62,200 gross, plus performance bonuses. During the 3 month trial period the salary is $1000/week.
Work days are usually 8 hours long, but sometimes you will have to stay longer to finish a project,
and that’s why we’re offering such a good package.
We are based in Wantirna, Melbourne, and we’d like the applicant to live locally.
A mechanically minded person with previous welding experience is desired,
but we’re willing to train the right applicant!
Your daily duties would include, but would not be limited to:
Installing gates
Servicing and repairing gates
Installing gate openers
As we mentioned before, previous experience would be great, and is certainly an advantage, but it is not essential because we can train the right person
Driver’s license is required, and so is a good driver’s record.

Mig welder required
Welding gates is all that is required, but it is also one of the most important jobs here at Gatesplus. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a good welding history of at least 1000 hours.
Excellent conditions, and the factory is based in Wantirna, Melbourne.
Hours: 8AM - 4.30PM, Monday to Friday.
The salary package is based on experience, but it is higher than what is usually paid in this line of work.
Part time work will be considered, so let us know which days you’d like to work, and for how many hours.
